SEAN TAYLOR SEYER, MA, LPC, LMHC
Licensed Counselor and Gender Therapist
Therapy.
What is therapy?
How does it work?
How can I help you?
As we are in the midst of our struggles, it is extremely difficult if not impossible to remain objective enough to lead ourselves out of the muck. We may keep hitting the same walls, coming right back around to the same arguments, losses, or struggles. You are able to get to steady ground much faster and easier with the help of a guide who cares about you, understands you, and can show you the places you are stuck and the paths you have begun creating to get out. After years of my own work with therapists and guides, a graduate study as a Master in Counseling Psychotherapy, and my years of working with clients struggling in the same way you may find yourself, I am confident that we can get to the ground you’re looking for. You may feel better and more in control, life may be a little easier, you may not be so bothered by those people, things, and past events. As you move through the sessions of psychotherapy with me, you may find yourself learning how to be your own guide, able to utilize tools and methods of healing that will lend you to more easily move through new difficulties, emotional roadblocks, and learning opportunities. I specialize in anxiety, guilt/shame, gender identity, and explorations into the realms of non-heteronormative lifestyles for individuals and couples.
